Why doesn my beardie eat much?

Hey guys not that my beardies underweight or anything but just kinda concerned that he reli doesn eat much at all i mean last week i must have fed him about 20-30 crickets and its not as if i dont offer them to him i was offerin every 2 hours or so....... And as for veggies all hes had is a kiwi a bit of carrot and some sqaush......

Is this normal i mean any idea why he mite be like this?

Could you refresh our minds on his set up... and age ?

His viv is a 55 gallon 31" long 26"? high and 16"deep ( too small i no im in the process of building a much bigger one at the moment)

Hes about 15/16 months (i say about as i got him from a pet shop and they said he was about 6 months old)

Well... could be he's just being.. male.
I have two that go back and forth with the not eating things... Try switching up your salad mixes, and your insect feeders... Could be he's just bored with the current fare.

sounds like he's beginning to change over to that 80/20 diet.
When you fix his salad.......do you toss it together or set each veg and fruit seperately?
Did he brumate this winter?
and Have you ever had a fecal?

Ive tried both and tried to hand feed him a bit but didnt work he just shakes his head.......

No not that i no well he seemed normal so i assume he didnt.......

Do you mean poo?

yup poop.

I'd run that fecal to be sure. If all is well........then he'll come around.

Do you have a scale or way to get an accurate weight?

Yes. Taking a sample of his fresh poo to the vet for testing for parasites.

No i haven ill take one the next time he goes toilet and bring it to the vet...

Not bad. his weight is fine according to his age.
Just keep trying.

What are your temps? if the temps are too low that will kill his appetite.

40 or so basking area

Around 30 in the cool side and it goes to about 20-23 at night (all in degrees celcius)

might wanna bump that basking temp up a little bit......not much.......just a little ......like 43-45

o ok just thought cause he was sittin there with his mouth wide open he was warm enough haha ill up it a bit so.
