Hi all! My beardie Cosmo just turned 8 months old, is 19 3/4” long, and (as of today) weighs 394.7 grams. Is this normal weight or is he a bit chunkier than he’s supposed to be? He eats about twice per day but the morning feeding usually far outweighs what he eats at night. He doesn’t look fat to me, but I just want to ask for some other opinions before I change up his diet. I’d appreciate any help or advice, thanks!

Hes of good weight--- what is he eating last feeding and how many insects in the morning feedings? Are you feeding salads - the insects can be dropped during the last feeding if your feeding those - and feed him as much salad as he wants

Hi- thanks for the reply? He eats between 8-15 dubia roaches in the morning. At night I give him a few mealworms and maybe a hornworm every other day. He hasn’t been eating salads to be honest, I’ve tried many times with different greens but he doesn’t really seem to like any of them.

Ok he needs salads now --- when he turns 1 yr old his diet is going to go to 80% salads and 20% bugs-- those should be knocked down to 2-3 times per week - we need to lure him to the salad bowl - no more dubias --- get some BSFL www.symtonbsf.com order large -- use a bowl like this https://www.amazon.com/MACGOAL-Rept...uGQB&pd_rd_wg=tLkwE&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_d
these make great salad bowls and will keep the BSFL in --- drop the BSFL in the bowl in front of him on his salads first thing in the morning this will get his attention -- no more meal worms or horn worms - hes filling up on all the dubias and worms -- you want him eating some of that salad -- there is a salad dressing that people have used to get the dragon to eat salads https://petmountain.com/collections...cts/nature-zone-bearded-dragon-salad-dressing you can try this but I would go w/ the BSFL first see if that will get him to the bowl --

ignore the kale info its outdated and a good staple feeder
