Veggie concerns

Hey everyone,

So I have noticed that my beardie will eat greens. He prefers watercress (can't remember who suggested it but thank you :) The problem I have is that he will eat greens (watercress, collards and endive) but if I dare add some other kind of veggie or fruit he refuses to touch it, sometimes for several days.

My question is, is it okay that all he eats is greens? Will he be getting enough nutrition from only greens? I have tried lots of different fruits and vegetables and he will not eat them ( he used to but now has attitude) so I am reluctant to add new ones fearing that will go on a veggie strike because I dared to to add something new.

Any advice or suggestions is appreciated :)
Thank you in advance

They are picky little buggers and they go through phases. Next month he may not want collards and watercress but maybe dandelion and mustard. As long as you have a bit of variety hell be okay. One idea would be to give him a bowl of what he does like and then a separate bowl of other things. He may eventually eat a little out of each bowl.

With Luci I have one of those flat plastic reptile bowls. On one half I put things he will eat and on the other side things I want him to try. If he really doesn't like the new stuff, he'll poop on it!

LOL I guess that's one way to let you know he doesn't like something.
I will try two separate dishes, one for greens and the other for veggies/fruits.
Thanks PatsyB :)
