Smalls won't eat her veggies...

Our rescue beardie is doing well and adjusting to her new home... Smalls loves to eat her roaches and horn worms but will not eat veggies. Her vet thinks that it might be due to the fact that all she was ever fed was veggies.

Does anyone have any ideas or tricks to get her to eat some greens

I don't know of any special tricks beyond to just keep pushing 'em.

I have a girl that won't eat veggies either. You just have to keep giving them and hope they will eventually eat them. I tried not giving her bugs for a week and only salad, but she just lost weight, wouldn't eat the salad. I've switched up her greens thinking she just didn't like what I was offering. One thing that sorta worked was I made a smoothie out of her greens and then I ran a horn worm through it and she ate the worm. The sludgy smoothie stuck real good to the horn worms body. I tried just letting the supers crawl around in the smoothie but they died before she ate them. She's starting to get real good with drinking water from an eye dropper so I think I'm going to try the smoothie again but give it to her that way.

One thing I really make sure to do though is I feed her worms her salad. So hopefully the worms get the nutrition and she gets the nutrition from the worms.
