I adopted my dragon, Aussie, last November. She's turning four this July. Her previous owner kept her on sand. I kept her on ReptiCarpet at first but now paper towels, seeing how it's easier to clean.

My best guess as to what has happened is she's worn her heals out when she glass surfs. But my issue though, is that I also think it could be something called "blister disease", (http://en.allexperts.com/q/Reptiles-704/2010/2/Re-Bearded-Dragon-Scale.htm) because her belly and underside of her tail is also weird. I am away from home from 6:15am to 3:00pm, and since I'm a student taking accelerated courses, I don't always have the time to clean her tank. But I keep as clean as possible 24/7. Anyhow I'm thinking her poo has affected her scales on her belly and bottom of tail and I guess feet too... I honestly don't know. I'm going to take her to a vet asap though, but we need to take four other pets to the vet and need to cough up like $700 to get my wisdom teeth removed...

This has been going on a while. I have consulted a facebook group and the most I have been told is that "You can try soaks & neosporin in the meantime, but it may not help since its gone on for so long. At the very least you need to try to treat with soaks and neosporin so hopefully things don't progress." & "If u havent id suggest betadine soaks diluted til looks like tea. And some neosporin no pain reliever. Until u can get to vet." of course, aside from all of the "give her up to a rescue/friend" stuff.

I bath and scrub my dragon with a toothbrush every time she poos, because she has a fun habit of getting poo all over her underside.
Sometimes (not often) the whites of her poo are a bit pinkish (sometimes a little darker) one end..

Does anyone know what it is? How to treat?

dont know about whats on the feet - keep us posted ? the belly just looks dirty. scrubbing with a toothbrush is not always necessary - although they dont LIKE playing in their poo (as a general rule), they are not animals accustomed to sterile environments. just plop her in the sink or tub for a bit and let her play. you really do need to keep the viv clean, tho. she depends on you to do that. (said in a loving way - not recrimnatory)

I'll let you know everything there is once I know :)
I mean, I clean her belly with a tooth brush if there's poo on it. Normally everyday I put her in my shower and let her soak in the water for a bit, so I don't think it's dirty.
If you look between the scales, you'll see it's darkened. I've tried numerous times to clean it off and it won't go away. Aussie, the dragon we are speaking of, isn't a fan of getting her underbody/undertail cleaned, so I don't wanna stress her too much.
What I meant was she's apparently made a sort of habit to where when she goes potty she ends up tracking it everywhere and gets it on her. Like today - she has paper towels down for substrate and she apparently finds some sort of satisfaction in "digging" them up and moving them around, and today she went potty and there was feces remains all over the glass and her underbody/undertail.
Yes, I understand the immediate need to keep her terrarium clean. I have gotten much better at keeping it clean.

Some of it looks like retained shed. The underside of the tail and the toes. I would concentrate on those areas with the toothbrush and maybe some Reptile Shedding Aid and or coconut oil.

I have the same exact issue with the belly on on my boy. He runs his tank all day long and I think what happens, actually I HEAR what happens, is he rubs the belly on his decorations and I think that is doing something to the scales on his belly. Some of them are darker than the others, like there was trauma to them. They don't hurt him, I just keep an eye on it to make sure there is nothing else going on. My boy also has very dirty looking feet, not to the point of yours where there are blisters but again, I think it's from running all day, it's like he has calluses on his feet! It's either that or the floors in my house need a real good cleaning  If you find the time I would try to clean the blistered area on his feet with some betadine mixed with water (until it looks like weak tea) and then put some neosporin on it without menthol. Do this right before bed so he doesn't run around. Let us know what the vet says, I curious to know what they think.

Yeah, mine tries tries to climb the glass and makes laps around the tank. Honestly that's what I think is the whole thing with her, like yours. I take mine out a lot and let her run around my room and all but she still glass surfs even after hours of being out. I'm looking around of things she can do and have for a more interactive tank environment. Right now I have two of those jingly cat balls I think she plays with. I have a fake vulture skull in her tank and I know for sure she does at least something with it because it is always flipped over and in a different spot.

Do I wrap her feet with anything or just leave it alone with the stuff on? What if she somehow eats it? Would she get ill, etc.?

It's so exhausting! He surfs his tank, we let him out for hours and put him back in and he still wants out! Although this week he's been a bit lazy so I'm completely thrown off. He is shedding in bits so I hope that's what his issue is.

If you put something on her feet at night you don't have to worry, it should absorb into her skin during the night and be gone by morning. Kinda like putting lotion on your hands before bed.

A baby beardie I fostered a few weeks ago had the exact same yellowish thick skin that your beardie has on his tail and underbelly. I think it was retained shed because after about a week of betadine soaks every day, along with toothbrush "scrubbing", it started to peel away and look better. The vet also recommended I use antifungal spray on him--lotramizole I think is the generic name, the same stuff used for jock itch and athletes foot. It's important to use the aerosol spray because it adheres much better than the cream in a tube. That may be worth a shot while you are waiting to get to the vet.
I'd also make sure there is no dampness or moisture in the cage, like wood chips or a water bowl. Some paper towels or newspaper on the bottom might soak up the poo moisture too.

Good luck, and I hope that helps!

I wondered about getting some anti fungal spray for his feet. My guy is finally going into a slow shed, he hasn't shed in months, he's 1 1/2 years, and I noticed the tops of his feet are starting to white over. So I'm hoping with this shed all the nasty stuff will come off on the bottoms of his feet.

Well today I bathed Aussie again (just water and tooth brush) and her feet are actually getting much better. In fact, she doesn't have the blister looking things anymore! They just came off in the bath. I guess they were scabs?
Now I'm just concerned about her belly and under her tail. The belly could be shed, but I'm not sure. It comes off in scales, and it's not the scale itself. The tail, though, I'm not sure about.
Hopefully these pictures appear ...
