I sprinkle it on their food, just a dash. You also need to get one that doesn't have D3. I only use the calcium with D3 once every couple of weeks. I feel that if you have a good UVB output, there is not much need to supplement. I check my UVB with a Solarmeter.

My vet/ reptile specialist also advised that I use a calcium supplement without d3. He recommended Repashy's calcium plus. It has calcium and vitamins in one product

I love Calcium Plus. I started using it for everyone. Except I do use the multivitamin a few times a month for the ones that have health issues. Calcium plus makes things so much easier though not having to worry about what to use and when.

little off topic but any solarmeter's I've seen are very expensive, have you got one that doesn't cost a few hundred doll hairs?

Mine was on sale for $189 a few years ago. For me in the long run it was worth it because I have 7 tanks using UVB.
