My Dragon insists on pooping on his basking rock

I have a 70 gallons tank with a formica floor that he used to poop on. He has just pooped 8 times in the middle of his basking rock. The rock weighs 15 lbs and is hard to remove to properly clean. How do I get him to choose a new location? He poops every 2 days.

Not sure seems once they find a spot to poop thats where they go -- try covering w/ something that you can remove and throw away like a paper towel or maybe a old cloth - be ready for him
