My Crested Geckos

My first experience with reptiles (other than catching them as a kid) was bearded dragons. Because of them, my passion grew greatly for all reptiles. I now keep and breed crested geckos, and have kept and/or bred many others. I have many other plans for the next few years as far as branching out even more, mainly into more rare species. It's exciting! Anyway, here are my cresties!

#1 (hoping this one goes male. Would love to put "him" with Katara next season)

#2 (not sure where the color is going with this one. Could end up with a dark base, or red. Either way, "she" will be incredible as an adult!)

I don't know much about them but do they grow their tails? like in the last pic it has a short tail did something happen to it or do they grow as they do

I recently learned that cresties don't grow their tails back like leopard geckos. It's called frog butt or something like that.

We call them frog butts

They CAN regrow their tails, but don't typically use the energy to do that. I've seen one regrow part of its tail

Appa is absolutely gorgeous. I don't know anything about Cresties but dang. I'd love to wake up to something like that daily.

All of the Crested I've ever seen are just brown. Are those morphs that you have normal or are they special bred? I've never seen Crested's that look like yours, but then again I've never tried to own one either. Yours are simply gorgeous.

These are morphs. With cresteds, though, morphs are a little complicated. These are line bred instead of genetically defined morphs (like albinos, or leather backs).

Appa, Toph, Momo, Katara, Zuko, and both Unsexed ones are pinstripe harlequins. Some are only partial pinstripes, or just with pinstripe dashing. Then Suki is an extreme harlequin, and Bumi is a bicolor (bicolor and Patternless are pretty much normals, unless they are reds, yellows, olives, etc. In color).
