I have has this guy for 6 weeks. When we first got him he ate what we felt was normal. 15 crickets in a 15 minute eating time. He would do this twice a day. In a separate feeding cage. Now he is only eating 4 gut loaded meal worms and maybe 2 crickets once a day. His eating declined after his second shed. We do have a second dragon in the same room but 2 different cages. Any ideas for him to eat would be helpful. History on his food is. He has eaten greens. He will sometimes eat the dragon diet we have. Will not touch duby roaches.

What are the surface basking temps on the hammock? Where is the UVB? Brand and bulb of the UVB? It needs to be unobstructed NO screen and a long tube fixture NO coils please --- screens block 30% of the UVB rays- he looks pretty young- about 4-5 months old -- w/ him barely eating or very little not good - if he was a older dragon that would be a normal thing in winter but w/ him being young he should have a big appetite so the UVB needs to be on par w/ surface basking temps -- this will effect their appetite - your feeding crickets how is the poop? firm or real runny? smell really bad like enough to make you leave the room or you can smell out of the room? Please no more dragon food is that like pellets? He needs fresh salads every day -- http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html ignore the kale info its outdated and a good staple -- you can also feed BSFL as a staple insect -- www.symtonbsf.com order large - you will need a bowl like this to keep them in https://www.amazon.com/MACGOAL-Rept...uGQB&pd_rd_wg=tLkwE&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_d
Please No more meal worms for now - they are very harsh on babies stomachs - 1- 3 super worms every other day on his salads and the BSFL also topped on the salads as a lure to the bowl - feed only 20 - 25 at time if he really likes them he will gobble them down and they will come out undigested so feed lightly at a time - you dont need to dust them w/ calcium D 3 but your crickets you need to -- so lets get the lighting and temps on par and go from there

Those are coils? I am assuming and horrible brand --- he has stopped eating and developing MBD -- please get one of these bulbs for a 40 + gallon tank a 24" fixture
Zoo Med comes w/ a 5.0 bulb you want a 10.0 bulb I will post links for these
https://petmountain.com/products/zo...-output-terrarium-hood?variant=47087153742100
22" https://petmountain.com/products/zo...utput-fluorescent-bulb?variant=47087156658452
this one can be found at Pet Smart you want the 12% bulb 24 watt
https://www.pangeareptile.com/colle.../products/arcadia-prot5-12-uvb-bulb-with-hood
or this one you will need to change the bulb out to the Reptisun above - you want the 2 ft or 24" fixture
https://hydrobuilder.com/sunblaster...mp.html?opts=eyJhdHRyaWJ1dGU5MDEiOiI2NjEwIn0=
Once you get the UVB please post back on here I will help you get it placed and distanced for the screen on the tank - it does determine where the UVB goes

What did you order? What kind of high out put lamps ? Uvb? Or basking bulbs? Thrive basking bulbs are ok as long as they are a solid clear bright white bulb- if it's warm outside sunny over 65 take him out for 15 min in direct sunlight - best uvb- if you use a container it needs to be a plastic tote like No lid - glass gets too hot - watch him closely from getting to hot and predators like birds

Our beardies love the outside time. Feeding has increased with the bulb change and outside time. Still not as active when we first got him. But will keep everyone posted. Thank you Sadie for the help

The outside time is great -- what did you get for the UVB? These bulbs have certain placement and distance depending on the screen on the tank -

What kind of screen on the tank ? Is it a fine mesh like a screen door or a wide holed type? This will determine where the uvb goes and distanced

Ok so the brand of the UVB is not good quality -- its a 22" ? Did you look at the ones I had posted for you? Those are most recommended --- better quality bulbs -- if you can send it back I would --- small holes the UVB is going to need to go into the tank --- please get a better UVB - your dragons health depends on it
