I was feeding crickets to my beardie and he had a hard time catching them, miss a lot and sometimes he would just snap at the air above him, but there is no crickets even close. When the crickets get close he will miss 3-4 times and then finally get it. I was thinking and I wonder if I got a partially blind beardie?

How old is your beardie? How long has he been in his enclosure? Did he end up eating a normal amount? Any other weird behavior or anything else of note going on?

Crickets are usually a problem for two of my dragons, the drain tries anticipating the jump and hit air. Another reason I love dubia, they stay on the ground.

I highly doubt its the bulb causing this especially at only 6 months old.

Dexter misses a lot because she is lazy. She sticks her tongue out as far as it will go and if she can't reach the bug she just gives up!
