Hello.
My bearded dragon Lemmy has a hard large lump under his armpit. He’s had it for about a month now and I was told by an expert that it was just a fat pocket and I should feed him less. So I did that and gave him water and mostly just greens but the bump is still there. He doesn’t seem to be in pain when I touch it or pick him up, but I think it has gotten a bit bigger. Anyone know what this could be?

Hello,

I am assuming that there isn't a lump on the other side?
That definitely is too big to be a fat pad, & if it was a fat pad/reserve it should be relatively soft & not hard.
It just cropped up like that somewhat suddenly?
I would agree, it is most likely a cyst & wont go away on its own. The vet should be able to drain the area
& culture any fluids to be sure there isn't infection built up.
Is his appetite good?

Tracie
