When I first moved to my area 20+ years ago, I bought an American Flag Kit. I didn't have anywhere to hang it outside of my house. I don't do too well with ladders- fear of heights and falling. I can climb stairs, no issues.

For the 250th birthday of America, I broke out the flag kit. The flag remained in my food pantry. Safe, secure for 20+ years. I now have a small deck and thought I'd never hang the flag. Well, today, I installed the mounting bracket. I unfurled the flag and hung it outside. No sooner than I had hung the flag- it began to storm. Wind blowing. Then rain, and thunder. I didn't want to see the flag blow out of the bracket. I didn't want to see it destroyed. So, now, it's my kitchen, resting against the wall, rolled up. Tomorrow, I'll put it out.

Below isn't my real flag.
