Naah. Although I couldn't swear – I don't think either of my dragons eat their shed. But both of my geckos do all the time

A lot of reptiles eat there own shed for a few reasons. It serves as a source of protein and it covers there tracks from predators, worst case is he just poops it out in which I would say don't let him eat it for a second time

I have a gecko and it eats it's shedded skin. It's normal I think it gives them energy and protein they use up when shedding.
