Feeding my beardy

I was told to put worms in food dish and leave all day let my beardy eat when he wants, but then was told to put them in there for 20-30 mins then take out three times a day does it matter? I always keep greens in there except at night. He is a baby.

hi there. how old is he? what kind of worms are you feeding? we typically recommend letting them eat as much / many bugs as they want in a 15 minute period 2 or 3 times daily. greens to be offered all day. I don't think I would leave worms all day.

Worms aren't going to stay in the bowl all day. Even with the metal smooth sides cat bowls I have escapees. Rule of thumb is to let your dragon eat what it wants in a span of about 10 min and then remove the bugs. Salad should be left all day.
