Evidently, it looks as this is something not everybody knows about. So I'll explain how it's done.

Ever wonder how somebody makes a couple of underlined words into a link? It's really not all that hard...especially if you know how to post an image without using any of the image buttons above.

Basically, all you need is a few characters listed below:

Opening Bracket = [
Closing Bracket = ]
Forward Slash = /
URL = http://greatstuff.dow.com/
Underline = u

I'm using the Great Stuff url we discussed in one of the forum threads.

Were I to create the formula as it's shown in a response, all you would see is the two underlined words, Great Stuff, with the link embedded. So I need to use a bit of code, if you will. Refer to the characters above to decipher the code.

OB = opening bracket
CB = closing bracket
FS = forward slash
ur el = url
und = underline

OB ur el = http://greatstuff.dow.com CB OB und CB Great Stuff OB FS und CB OB FS ur el CB

If you substitute the above code with the characters and leave out any spaces, you'll get this:

Great Stuff

Just be sure to use the letter 'u' and not an actual underline when creating the code. If you have any trouble, I'll help as best I can.

You're mixing the code with the characters. Insert the characters in place of the code....but no spaces.

Here, maybe this will help. I've shown most of the equation below with exception of a few missing characters. Try copying it, but including the missing characters as I've explained.

Insert the equal sign (=) between 'url' and 'http', the letter 'u' between the second set of opening brackets, a forward slash (/) before the 'u' in the third set of opening and closing brackets, and 'url' after the forward slash between the last set of opening and closing brackets.

An easier way to explain it may be ...

This:
[*url=http://greatstuff.dow.com/]Whatever is written HERE will show as a Clickable link to the URL - in this case the Great Stuff site

Without the red '*' will put out this, that when clicked, will go to the 'Great Stuff' Site:

Whatever is written HERE will show as a Clickable link to the URL - in this case the Great Stuff site

Another example ...

This:
[*url=http://www.youtube.com/user/MrGb333?feature=mhee][*b][*size=7]Germ's YouTube Channel - CLICK ME!

Again, the above, without the red '*'s, will show this & when clicked will take you to my YouTube Channel ...
Germ's YouTube Channel - CLICK ME!

I found the OP very confusing, hope this helps some,
