Dragon wont drink Help

Hey Guys Ive had my Dragon 2 days it eats well and is active but he wont drink from his bowl he is 3months old.
How can I get him to drink from his bowl?
Help Please. ???

Hey,

Dragons don't usually drink from water dishes. Most drink while in the bath. They get moisture from the food they eat too. Those hot lights in your enclosure dehydrate lizards. Screen top tanks are also notorious dehydration chambers. I try to provide my beardies with an environment that doesn't dehydrate them so rapidly. This way theres no need for excessive hydrating.

I would try and leave the beardie alone for awhile. Allow it to adjust to its new surroundings. Good luck and post pics of your setup in the housing section.

Don't be discouraged. Sometimes my beardie likes to be sprayed down while basking with some warm water from a spray bottle I picked up at the dollar store. Be careful not to get his environment too wet though as having it too humid in there is not good.

like what was said before, not all dragons will drink from a dish so if your dragon doesnt then dont worry...a good soak a couple times a week should help hydrate him just fine and also mist veggies...and again like wat was said before just give him some time to acclimate to his new home
