I was told the dry cricket food makes their exoskeleton harder which makes it harder for the beardie to digest I was suggested to use carrots as food/ water source for them but in doing so is my beardie going to get too many of certain vitamin source?

I would add cricket food for them and keep your carrots for hydration or get cricket quencher -- up to you
