Coconut fine shavings

I use this fins coconut shavings for my tarantula. Can this be used on a 2 year old BD?

I use repti carpet for both of mine and have no problems with it. My girl doesn't go to the bathroom in her tank so hers is mostly clean. My boy goes to the bathroom in his and I spot clean daily and then swap it out with a clean one each week.

I use reptile carpet cor one and tile for other tile seems to work better
