Bloody stool

Hey everyone,
I have a new/young beardy and I got him for my girlfriends son for his birthday. I just got a call at work that he has a bloody stool. What would cause this?

Parasites are the best bet, get going to the vet. Dont forget the stool.

Are you sure it was blood? If you fed him something red, say strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, red pepper....they could have red poop from that. I've had many freak outs where I thought it was blood and then I remembered the red food and their next poop was just fine.
