I've had Lenin for coming up to 2 months now and he's been great (roughly about 5 months old). He's been going through a shed which he's coped with well. He's currently shedding on his head and at the same time has stopped eating and is hiding in the cool side of his viv in his cave.
Is this normal behaviour or should I be worried?
Temps are 40oC on his basking spot, going down to 21oC on the cooler side.
Any help/ advice would be appreciated.

Try to bump up the temp in the basking area just a bit 40-43C is good, on the higher side for a baby is better. Now the cooler side is way too cold for a daytime temp. You want it to be between 26-30C. 21 is okay for a nighttime temp but way too low for the day. Some beardies tend to not eat when they are shedding.
