Beard not deflating

My 4 year old squeezed Spiky and he inflated his beard yesterday. He is eating and moving and shows no signs of internal injuries. It has been almost 24 hours and his beard has deflated about 70% but still looks like he has some puffiness in the beard area and it is darker than normal. My question is how long does it usually take for the beard to return to normal?

Mine puffed his beard for the first time couple months ago at the vet,she gave him an enema,so needless to say he was not a happy dragon! He stayed black and puffy for a day and a half! So wouldn't worry too much..

Thank you so much for the reply. Spiky's beard is slowly deflating and he seems to be fine...eating worms, crickets and kale. His beard is still a little dark but the puff has gone down considerably.

Don't feed them just kale.! Kale is a natural calcium blocker. They can eat it but it has to be mixed with other greens. :)
