Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I see my walking pine cone ! *giggles*.

Francis.. the first picture of the monitor... at the area where the tail and legs join... am I seeing an open wound ? Hard to tell...

I love all the skink pictures..
I think though, I'll avoid those poisonous snakes.. Were I ever to come down there.... *grins*
Thanks for sharing !

All I can say is....Nice!

Ditto! And like Janie, I'm curious to know if there's something wrong with that first monitor. Definitely looks like an open wound to me, too.

Ok now I'm even more jealous, the only wildlife I see around me is gray squirrels. Great pics, thanks for sharing!

I was just about to ask about the first Monitor too. Looks like we are all wondering the same thing.

Thanks guys,

The first pic of the monitor has a peice of eucalypt bark in front of it's led, I had to doa double take on that as well. That pic was taken while it was 15m up a tree.

I love the kangaroos too. Love the one with the joey

Sandra there was about a 30 strong mob of them around the property, they came down in the mornings and the afternoons from the national park and feed on the paddock in front of the house. It was funny to watch the joeys as some of them where just figuring out what their legs where for lol. They would hop around mum as fast as they can then get tired and try and get back in the pouch for a free ride.
