    Vacation 7 day enclosure

Taking 7 days, and am going to have someone take care of my beardy. I have to drop him off and the enclosure I built is to large to transport. Can I get away with a 20gal setup for 7days, or am I going to have ta buy a 40gal? Not a highly active dragon btw:)

    Dermthingy beetles.

Take it out and bake it would be the safest I can think of. You could also boil some water and give that sucker a bath, but make sure you dry the branch out well before putting it back in the viv.

    phoenix and super worms

Are night crawlers from a bait shop ok? What do you use to gut load them? Silks are hit or miss feast or famine:) many times they are tough to find. My Chameleon only eats the moths my beardie will eat the whole cup of worms if I let him. Jarich do you know the nutritional value of zophobas...

    Intelligence of bearded dragons

I am new to bearded dragons, but have noticed that my beardy knows what is in each food container. If I pull out the container that horn worms are kept in he gets rather excited runs up to the door. Horn worms are his favorite treat, yet he can not see the worms in the container. Super worms...

    Smell

Maybe he needs a probiotic to help with Digestion? Here is one http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Acid.html Other posibility I can think of is that he is not getting enough heat. I am far from an expert.

Planning on moving the Chameleon if he does not get over it by the weekend... Beardy could care less today. Veiled was still angry. I just can not believe how quick he settled in. Very curious and friendly, fell asleep on my 7 year old tonight. Loved bath time also. sucked down some new feeders...

    Dubia roach feeding

I use cricket crack for dry, and fresh veggies for mine. Seems Dubias go crazy for anything orange carrots and oranges are my Dubias favorite. Many people use the chick feed for chickens instead of dog/cat food.

    Hobbit Dragon Enclosure

I think the background makes the tank look taller it is 24 x 24 x 48. 16.5 inches from the bulb. I was told 12-24 inches is the range I should stay in.. I was going to put a bridge at the upper doorway, but it would be 8 inches from the bulb. Thought that would not work with the 12% bulb? I may...

So me and my son age 7 are about to get a Bearded dragon. He heard Dragon, and immediately named him Smaug from The Hobbit:) Here are a couple of pictures that I have so far, the background I carved out of foam. Gandalf, Bilbo, and Thoren are cake toppers. UVB is a 46" 12.0 t5. Do I need more...
