    Very true, my tank is 2 feet high so I think it will be ok. I was only going to cut the part thats under the uvb and leave the heat lamp part uncut since the heat should penetrate. And only like 2 inch strips down the length of the tube so some mesh will still be underneath to support it. Sent...
