So I've recently moved, and since moving his appetite hasn't been the same. In this move though I changed him over to the BoaMaster cage for dragons...a 4x3x2 or so. This use to house my Argentine tegu, which now resides in a 6x4x4 below him. I've introduced some new rocks, which I cleaned with...
They can float too, something cat's and dogs can't do haha. Although it's done out of a survival instinct, so I'm sure it's a stressor so not something you want to do,but it's cute as hell. Part lizard, part puffer fish, and completely cool. They have great personalities, and are very forgiving...
So Stoli has slowed down a little over the past couple of days. He's about ten inches long, and has been eating well since this. I know it's early for brumination, but it looks like that. He basks, but will only eat one or two roaches. He gets soaked twice a day, and i'm waiting for his tail to...
We could do one sitting on a shoulder, or on one side of the chest ,if someone has a pic of a full size, or we can get a baby on the front and an adult on the back?
I can't draw worth a crap to be honest, but I was thinking maybe on the front we can have two dragons on either the left or right chest area, with them circled and head bobs, and on the back have a large dragon, maybe someone from here has a good pic of one.
I was just thinking if there would be any interest in getting a t shirt for the site, we could do some designs or pull pics off the web and have multiple beardies for different months? Let me know, can look into getting something like this started up.
So here he is, about 10 inches and growing. Can't wait to get his gf. I'd like to build platforms and watched one of the videos on it, how hard is it, anyone here do that, that might be able to give some inside info. I have some drylok, which I know can be used but it sounded pretty nasty...
Haha, get a tegu George, it will bring a whole new meaning to re decorating , not only does he move everything to his liking, it's things that aren't light either. I had a plastic bin I was going to feed him in, and it had a spray bottle in it,tape measure, two bricks, about 4 pounds each, his...
This might be a shot in the dark here, not sure if any chemicals would be released, but I figured I'd try and help, Jeff let me know if it would work or not. You could try silica, or also I know rice is used to bring down moisture too sometimes. The little silica packets, not sure if that would...
Thanks jeff, good site, and lots of helpful items. My little guy seems fearless, just think sometimes he'd rather just bask than eat hahah. He's doing well though.
