Hi all
I think I know the answer just making sure as a new first timer...
I rescued an adult on the 28th September, from day 1 he's been feeding well considering the relocation stress.
Temps and lighting are 37-40c and a T5 12% UV
The last couple of days he been digging away and hiding under...

Just out of interest, can BD's tell the difference between their UV lights and LEDs?
I only ask as the LED light i have is exactly the same "colour temperature" and brightness as the uv and he's been spending more time at the cooler end. Just though he might be getting mixed up
To be honest his appetite has been really good, eating his greens and bugs so no issue there. Basking temps are around 96-102 taken with a I/R gun and probe. Uvb is inside the viv.
My main concern is his eye looks a little gunky and occasionally closed so if there's anything I can do or if a vet...
It's a 12% arcadia T5 I've got an LED light in there which is the exact same colour as the UV lamp...but I've only had him 3 days and I think he came.with his eye issue

Hi all
Just looking for people's opinions, so during the summer beardies get 12-14hrs of heat and uv and 10-12 in the winter.
It's 19.00hrs and my lil guy has put himself.to bed on his perch, should I have the timer switch off now or keep as is 06.00-20.00.
I was thinking in the UK the clocks...
The basking surface is as in the picture between 39-41c.
I've been dripping water onto and around his face and leaving small pools around him aswell as a water bowl.
The wax worms were just to try him in them to see if he would eat anything else, I've got.him a batch of calci worms, he's a bit...
Afternoon all
After some advice/reassurance, I've had young Derek for 2½ weeks (27-08-23) now, he/she was born in May 23.
They were given a week to settle in to their new home before handling etc. As you can see temps are where they should be and UVB is arcadia 12%.
Now...the question...from...
Hi All
Just wondering if any one has experienced this?
So I got lil old Derek (3 months old) home on sunday 27/08/23, given him some time to settle in temps are good 38-40c in the basking area with 12% Uv light insdie the viv. But when feeding crickets he turns his nose up at the ones that have...
