@Mom2Dovakiin That means so much to me. I've been working on this enclosure a little bit at a time since December. Would it be better to get a higher wattage flood light and aim it at a spot further away?
My only concern is the bearded dragon burning themselves if they can reach it. I think that would be the only thing I'd worry about. So further away would definitely be something to think about it.
I can re-angle the halogen spot light then. Not much else I can do other than that since the vents on the roof prevent it from being moved closer to the front of the cage. Actually, I wonder if I can attach a brooding clamp light to the top of the enclosure with screws and cut a hole the size of the bulb for the heat light. Does that sound stupid?
