well she just got here about 30 mins ago and is setteling in to her viv. She has some stress marks which I expected. She is a little skidish right now so I dont wanna mess with her right now. I will get some picts of her and load them up on here in a little while. I got to run to work for a bit...
well my new baby girl shipped out today so I will have picts posted tomorrow once she gets here. She left buffalo, NY tonight at 8:28pm and she is due here by 10:30am. I have built her a viv just like I have for the other dragons. I will post some picts of the condo as well tomorrow. Can't wait...
I am sorry I did not elaborate on that. No absolutely not gonna house more then one in a viv. I have built 2 viv's and and building my 3rd viv now. I have sonny in one, dora in the other and the 3rd dragon will go in the 3rd viv once done and I get her. I thought about what I typed after I typed...
Ok so the viv's that I built that are 36 x 18 base should be fine? That is the viv I plan on keeping them in. There are also hides in the tank. O hope it is ok cause that is where sunny my now 4 month old has been since mid november. And I a building one now for a 3rd dragon. My second dragon is...
be careful with those brown banded as I think you are talking about camel back crickets. the ones that live under your house? If so they have a very hard shell and of course could have come in contact with insecticides or other things that could harm your beardie.
Ohh and that is one thing I am...
Why is this? I am just wondering why you would not give them full roam of the cage? I know when feeding it may make it harder for them to catch food but other than that why in a smaller viv?
Thank you all for the compliments on the viv and sunny. I am making a 3rd viv now for the new dragon that will be here sometime when the weather breaks.
No they will just die inside within a day or so from lack of water. There eggs they lay needs to be in a substrate and stay moist for about 2 weeks to hatch so no worries of them infesting your house
Great idea tom I know I would love a reptile specific shop in my area. I am in the VA beach area of Virgina. I can tell you if you wanted a good location my area is it. There are a ton of military here and it is a pretty populated area. I think you should do it and hire me to help you run it...
Got a few good pict of sonny tonight so thought I would share. his colors are really startingto come out. This last shed has brought out more orange and also alot of yellow and greenish color. I talked to the breeder last night telling him how his colors were doing and asked if there was any...
I handle mine every chance I get but atleast one time a day just for fun for 30 mins to a hour. Then there are baths, and cage cleanings. and I allways talk to them and rub on there chin before each feeding as well but that is in the viv.
