    Thanks I had a digital thermometer that I used on a fish tank. I put it in and the basking area is 104.6. Perfect Thanks again

    We have a 40 gallon breeder with the dual lamp fixture sitting right on the screen enclosure. It is about 8" from our beardies basking spot. I plan on switching the uv light to one of the 18" ones from HD this weekend. My question is the basking bulb we had from the pet shop recently burned out...
