Hi I have 20 eggs and they are starting to hatch, but they are all in one incubator. Two have started to hatch so far and I need to know if it's ok to keep it open to make sure they don't suffocate
This is a picture of my set up before they started hatching.
Love it . How many to go?
So you let it soak the yoke before removing them? Wondering since that guy said that aND I'd like to know for personal reference.
Please help my bearded dragon started looking like this yesterday not eating or moving around really much.
She had eggs on July 16th great health until yesterday. .. I gave her two baths yesterday she pooped.
Today she's worse still won't eat and I thought she was dead in my hand when I...
Hi. I am on day 6 with my eggs .. at first had issues due to pet store telling me the wrong soil and an incorrect hygrometer.
My temp goes from 82-84.4 F but my humidity is constantly at90% sometimes 91 or 89 but rare that it moves..
I am new at this and am hoping I didn't mess up the eggs )...
I know thy dont need water themselves other than damp subsrate .. the pet store got me to buy plantation soil which I did change to that. But humidity os not lowering and if I have holes doesn't more humidity enter??
I have holes in the container I have my eggs .. should I change it? Im afraid they are getting too much water. .. my humidity will not go down im freaking out its staying at 88%-91% .
Its in the container with the eggs. I will be going to change the substrate. Hoping it s not too late.. problems with the hygrometor didn't let me learn this sooner ): .. only one of them looks weird so far but yeah..
Yeah I want to get them out of them coconut husk... one of them don't look too great.. I guess any gardening place should have pearlite I will try that . Thanks to you both..
No not much ventilation I been thinking on how I Cando that. . I literally did the same set up as my youtube video...
I cannot buy vermiculite in my area and I think that my coconut husk the pet store said was good is causing way too much humidity what else could I use?
I have my eggs sitting in coconut husk substrate. I have found out my hygrometer was in accurate I have a new one that works and I cannot get it lower than 90%... my temp goes from 83-84.4F ... I read that people put their eggs in vermiculite but I cannot purchase it in my area they removed it...
I have a home made incubator www.youtube.com/watch?v=T86nPATEckA .... my temp is 82 but it'll keep going up gradually .. but my humidity is wayyyy to high... 98% must I have a miss reading ? My in house humidity level is only 49% I don't understand
