My bearded dragon is going to the vet tomorrow for weight loss. They are refusing to eat greens, veggies and fruits of any kind but are still eating bugs. They are still active and still basking. They have already brumated this year and they never lose weight like this when they brumate. I’m...
Thank you!
I’m just so worried it’s something awful like cancer. But she is still very active and is eating bugs. Everything I read about cancer in dragons says lethargy.
The temps at night don’t get over 75. I will put the UVB in the tank. It’s just odd because my tank has been pretty much the same for two years and she has never done this before.
It is a T5 39W 10.0 UVB. The dragon likes to sit on that rock under it. Should I move it inside the tank. The domes inside hold heat emitters because it gets cold at night. I can’t remember what watt they are. She just pooped and it was normal.
She has never had parasites. The poop is pretty runny. She brumates from June to August. The vet I am seeing is a good vet. They specialize in exotics. I’m going to call when they open on Monday. There is a closer vet, right down the street actually, but I do not trust them at all. I have had...
In the last month, my beardie has stopped eating almost completely. They have stopped eating greens and fruits and veggies of any kind. They will occasionally eat one or two. They even turned down crickets a twice. I got them to eat hornworms and some crickets later though. I was hoping they...

Thank you so much for the advice. I got a probe thermometer. I tried my Thrive 100 Watt bulb in my Thrive lamp and put it on top of my tank, but that didn’t get the temp high enough. I then tried a fluker’s 150 watt bulb in my Thrive brand lamp that says it can take up to 150 watts. It got the...
Hi, everyone. I recently bought a zen habitat 4’x 2’ x 2’ tank(120 gallon). I can’t seem to get it the right temperature though. I have a thrive brand dome lamp and a 100 watt mercury bulb currently. That alone hasn’t gotten it above 80. I got another thrive dome lamp and a regular 100 watt...
