Alduin is very happy and healthy but I have never seen him vent while in his vivarium. The temp gun says 109f. I assume it is hotter than that because I have to pull the screen and light off before I can temp it. Could this be a possible health issue?
I would get the Calci sand out of there asap. Not only will it dye there skin if its colored it has a high impaction risk. If you have your heart set on some sort of sand as a substrate I'd have to recommend washed and sifted children's play sand, But not until your dragon is over 10 inches long.

I recently rescued an iguana that has been on a all cricket diet. Poor guy is skin and bones. He is about 2-3 feet long. I have been handing feeding him romaine lettuce hearts and collard greens. Is there anything else I can do to help get him back on his feet?
