    Attempting breeding hornworms..problem..

I bought 100 with food/cup habitat for $28, good deal, but they are growing much faster than expected. I have 2 that are ready to pupate, and about 6 more getting close. Problem is, its winter and I can't find a tomato plant, for egg laying, to save my life. Will they lay eggs on any plant, or...

    6 month old feeding

I have dubia roaches, he loves them, just won't eat enough of them. I'm looking into hornworms, maybe the color will catch his eye, I give him mealworms every once in a while, and tried waxworms but he didn't care for them. How do they do on silkworms? I'm looking at the 4 cup deal on Mulberry...

    6 month old feeding

I've had Pixel since he was six weeks old. He ate wonderfully until about 2 months ago when we were having a lot of really bad weather around here (earthquakes, hurricanes hit close, horrible storms etc) it took him a few weeks to get back to eating at all, and he still isn't really up to where...

Safe to feed meal worms all must read

I breed mealworms for my gliders, they should be completely safe if they have shed and are still white and soft, correct? I always have a handful of white ones in my bins.

    Are these weights normal?

Sorry to go off topic, is that a heat rock he is sitting on?

    Roaches not breeding..

I have a heating pad under the bin, I'll raise the temp to upper 90's and see if that helps. It is a constant temp. Thinking I'll order 300 small from American Bearded Dragon..as much as I didn't want to have to buy more, seems as though I'll have to until my colony gets going... Thanks for...

    Red Clay Or Sand

    Roaches not breeding..

I've had my "colony" for 2 months. Feeding a mix of ground up Harlan Teklad 18% lab blocks, layer pellets, fish food, and oats. water crystals at all times, and oranges once a week. Temp is kept at 89-90. They are growing but are not breeding. I have 3 adult females, 3 adult males, and about 100...

    So I Bought dubias

I don't know about him growing better on them, but I can tell you that your beardie will LOVE them. My guy still eats mainly crickets (my colony hasn't reached full feeding potential yet) but he doesn't really attack them, just eats them..but when I throw a roach in there he goes CRAZY!! I...

    Size question..

Ok, so I know that all beardies are different, and they will grow at their own rate...but Pixel seems to be staying so small. at 10 weeks he was 17.5g and was 7" from nose to tip of tail, today, at 17 weeks he is only 35g and 10" nose to tip of tail... Everything I have seen about average...
