Wondering if his food isn’t getting digested properly as they don’t have any source of UVB lighting for him. Actually makes a lot of sense to me now.

Hey everyone,
I posted a little over a week ago asking about a possible impaction. I mentioned in the post that my sister’s beardie was excreting pools of liquid. The ball is still in his stomach, and there seems to be other smaller balls now too. I’m thinking it has to be his organs cos none...
I’m by no means an expert, but to me that seems perfectly acceptable growth. It sounds like you got the dragon at a young age, maybe only a few months old, and for it to grow from 5 to 12 inches within a year seems fine. I got my dragon and he was about 3 - 5 inches and by the time he turned a...
I think I started giving my beardie baths right away, but if you want you could wait for someone else to reply on the thread before giving him one. Maybe look on other threads regarding this? I think the younger you get them acclimated to water the more likely they are to like it rather than...
You can give him unsweetened applesauce as a natural laxative. Give him a warm soak in the sink or bathtub for 5-10 minutes for the next few days if you’re really worried about him not being able to pass it. This helps them hydrate and gets them to go poop. Just make sure you keep a close eye on...
Is he choking on it? Pull it out if he is? If it’s just dangling there maybe brush it off so he can eat the rest. Make sure you’re not feeding him anything bigger than the space between his eyes in the future.

I personally have not, you could google uses if using vapor rub is safe for them and if you decide it is you could try it

It sounds like that could have easily caused it. The chemicals and moisture in that could be very detrimental to his breathing. I would be furious too!

It could be that his humidity is too high in his tank. I’ve noticed with my tiles that the moisture from his water bowl and the light making it evaporate gets stuck under the tiles. I would check this everyday and wipe up and excess moisture you might see.

It sounds like it could be an upper respiratory tract infection. My one beardie had the same problem with his nostril being clogged like that and the popping sounds and sure enough when I brought him to the vet he had the infection. If you can find a reptile vet near you I would bring him to...
I was the same way when I first got my beardies. I questioned everything. It’s better to question than to ignore I think.

Do you sleep with your beardie friend? I’ve done it for years. He snuggles right up under my chin and falls right asleep.
