Believe it or not, mine had the same exact thing. It was from him/her hitting its mouth off the side of the cage when it catches its food. It went away on its own and it took about a month.
It was found in my yard. I always feed stuff from the wild and no bad effects. I’ve just had him to the vet about a month ago and they said he is healthy with no parasites or anything. I told them he eats wild caught bugs and the vets said nothing about it.
I’ve been feeding my bearded dragon crickets, grasshoppers and bees from outside for the past year. Nothing wrong with her. I just had her to the vet for a checkup and they’ve said she is healthy and no signs of parasites and she is in very good health.
Yes I feed super worms. I have a cage full of them. This is much larger than a super worms beetle though. So I can’t feed him super worms when they morph?

Is this a worm? He has undigested cricket parts in his poop also and sometimes it smells bad. I know it is dried out but he left it while I was away for a few hours.
Yes gaping they hold their mouth open for a few minutes. But this looks like they are gagging. Kinda like hiccups. They do it real briefly and it looks like they want to throw up. While doing it mine like pulls his head back like he wants to vomit but nothing comes up.
Mine just started doing this also. I’ve had him for almost 3 months. About the same size as yours. It is doing the exact same thing. It kind of looks like it gagging trying to vomit his food back up he just ate. I thought it may have been hiccuping for it to grow. What did the vet say? Was it...
