    New beardie attitude problem

30w reptisun 10.0 t8 at the minute, I will be upgrading to t5 when bitey has settled that was the reason for my original post, although my current uv is Suitable for my set up I just feel an upgrade to t5 can’t hurt given the better uv output

    New beardie attitude problem

The cage was fully sanitised and cleaned out, we think it was mbd as he lost the use of his back legs and serious twitching, we’ve since discovered he was unfortunately fed on kale and spinach till the age of 2 due to bad advice, time patience is key here as you say I think

    UVB length

Fair enough thank you for the info, I’m looking at the Arcadia pro t5 specifically at the minute, do you have it positioned in the centre as it’s short so there’s a spot at hot and cool end with no exposure.

Hello all, not been on here for a while however all is not well, we lost our beardie last week, bad times, we have purchased another one yesterday but it appears to have an attitude problem, a lot of hissing, puffing and mouth open behaviour when he/she is approached, due to our original beardie...

Finally after a bit more research I finally went for it, just waiting on plant delivery, the introduce the little fella to his new home, any advice welcome.

    Lighting

Thank you venow, That’s exactly the idea fella, to encourage natural behaviours have him pick at and eat them, careful plant and herb selection would be done with extreme caution as not to poison the little fella, replace as and when necessary, I think the closer to nature the better.

    Lighting

All the other lighting is in order (basking bulb and uvb tube and has been for a long time, my question is primarily regarding extra lights if any to support live plants as it will be a bioactive setup I’ll be switching to, I’ve read that the jungle dawn led is a decent choice, anyone had any...
