    He never goes to the cool side? 9 month old beardie in a 120 gal. I have thermometers in the enclosure as well as a temp gun. He literally never leaves his basking spot except to eat, including sleeping there when the light is off. Cool side is 78, warm side is 105, 110 at the highest basking...

    Upgrading tank size to a 48x24x24. I’m reading mixed reviews on how long the uvb tube light should be. On his 36x18x18 I have a 24” hood with a 22” 10.0 uvb bulb. The lid on the new tank is mesh that works with “most uvb and heat bulbs.” So I’m assuming the hood on top of the tank will be fine...
