    Brumation

We have a 2 year old beardie and was wondering if it was normal for beardies to brumate twice a year. He went into brumation in October last year after he stopped eating but didn't go into full brumation just sleeping for a few days at a time and now he doing the same thing. He hasn't eaten for...

    Fussy eater

Thanks for that. Yeah he is very alert and he is not dehydrated as I make a point every other day to give him a drink from the tap. I do also have a bowl for him to drink from in his vivarium but he doesn't drink from it. We did think he was losing a little weight so today we gave in and gave...

Hi, not sure what to do for the best please could someone help. I have a 18 month old male who is hardly eating. When we first got him he would eat crickets, locusts roaches and worms and we would mix them up to give him a balanced diet we would also put greens in but he would hardly ever eat...

    Curly toes

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone else's beardie curls their toes up when basking?

    Anyone else?

Ha ha yep they can be worse than having cats. I clip my beardies claws but you have to be really careful. I take the last mm off but after you do this they can't grip the same so if they are on your clothes you have to hold on to them. Only clip the claws if you are confident that you can take...

    Behavior

Hi all, It always amazes me that when you think you know your beardie he does something new and different. My beardie Rhaegal loves sitting on the windowsill and looking out. He loves watching the traffic and people going by. But recently he has taken to hiding when people go by. The first we...

    Crickets

It does normally smell but this was more smelly than normal. It was like a bit of poo then a clear liquid round it.

    Crickets

Yeah he has eaten a normal amount of food. Still not eating crickets or greens but he is getting there.

    Crickets

Good news Rheagal is a lot more active today more like his usual self. I wonder if he wasn't feeling quite right. He did do a smelly watery poop the other day. Not sure what that is a sign of. Any ideas?

    Crickets

He used to poop every day then he started going every other day now it's every three days not sure if this is normal. The temps are high enough I'm struggling to keep them down. Came in today and they were up at 53 degrees centigrade under the spot.

    Crickets

He seems fine just the fussy eating that I've noticed and looking tired. Not sure he is in brumation as he is less than a year. I have been struggling with the temps recently maybe that's it. The temps were fine over the winter but now spring is here they have gone up but not consistent as the...
