    35 days in incubating...have questions

Hi all, my first time breeding. She laid 20 on Dec 9th and I kept 8 bc I don't want to overwhelm myself. I have a hovabator, no fan. I used hatch-rite. I soaked it in hot water bc it was very dry. There are 6 that look good.2 sunk in a week or so in. Not molding yet so I'm keeping them. The...

    Microscope image question

Thank you Jeff. As I said before, I'm not here to deface, just to state my facts and findings. Yes, adeno is transmitted from fecal to another dragons mouth, or from mother to eggs. I have been doing a lot of research on this virus and I could care less its worldwide, its the fact breeders know...

    uvb light

Yep. Looks good. Being obsessed w Ur dragon is not a bad thing. They are just as important as humans. We bought them, we should maintain health. Looks good. :)

    uvb light

No bouncer, the foil will not even barely get hot. just lay on top. I have one cage that has metal top on it, thick open wire holes. I have 2 uvb bulbs with a work cloth over them. I hate aquariums honestly. they annoy me . lol. but if you can make it work, which you have shown, then do it...

    uvb light

Yes bouncer36 looks better. I'd put tin foil strips on top of uv light to direct all the uv rays down. Just as wide as the fixture and the length lay on top w foil. Are the suction cups really supportive so no way the light will fall on him?

    Microscope image question

It's not the fact they will help by what....giving me new dragon, refunding my money...no. Quality pets for their prices should include adeno free babies being they are distributed worldwide...which is another scary thing. I know, they atent only ones, but they are a BIG part in the virus...

    Microscope image question

Yes, my husband speaks better with him than I do. When we bought our dragons from him, it started off bad with Barry . I have since then heard and confirmed other things which I'm not here to bad mouth anyone but to just let it be known where it came from and they know about adeno and do not...

    Microscope image question

Update, I went ahead and got a test for ademovirus and he is positive. I am just this week getting the ponazuril bc my vet. didn't have access to it till now. He looks good and eats well. I put him on an herbal aid to help get appetite back. I bought him to breed and he is from bloodbank...

    uvb light

Hey, well it looks good but in my honest opinion, I'd move it closer and get another one. That tank is big and he found his spot,, middle of cage where uv isn't really penetrating.

    uvb light

The tiles shouldnt be but a few inches long pretty much and also, the sealant has to dry for about 8-12 hours , thats why I said night time to give it plenty of time for next day use without disturbing the dragons ray time. Also, for support on holding the tiles in place jetting off of the...

    uvb light

Bouncer, I wanted to update you on current info I have recieved and now tested. Your uv supply needs to be above the dragon. This is why, simply b/c they absorb the uv through their back scales. Their belly scales are too thick and do not aid in uv absortion. The dragon can handle it, but long...

    Microscope image question

Yes Richard I understand breeders do minimum, pretty much. If a breeder wants a good name, put it on your website that you test and do parasite treatments. Nothing wrong in that. Shows people you care. That is why people go to breeders b/c we/they are the experts....petstores have ruined...

    Microscope image question

Update... since I havent really heard from anyone on here, I did more research and found someone that is helping. Also called a reptile vet and he is looking them over too. We believe it is coccidia, flagellates, amoeba, hookworm and pinworms. These pictures were from different samples. I just...
