    im sorry to hear youve lost your beardie, your baby beardie is more likely to look for somewhere warm either radiator, behind fridge ect put a small dish of water down , some greens and a towel somewhere warm and hope he eats while hes on his travels and stays on the towel as a warm secure...

    no the hear sheild is a metal plate you put behind the ceramic heat emitter to stop the heat hitting the top and sides also helps and direct heat away you need to put a guard around it also you really dont want your beardie to catch itself on that paul

    i use ceramic heat emitters for my night time temps never had a prob with them burning the viv if you use a good enought heat sheild you wont have a problem paul

    i love it when the shops are givin bad info and care and someone steps in and goes whooooaa what you doin you dont do it like that do it like this it shows the shop workers true knowledge of the speicies they tryin to sell, congrats ;D paul
