He's around 16 months now but has always been a fussy eater. Picks at live food and never eats veg. He ate one mealworm after feeding with tongs.
I'm sure he'll be a bit funny with the changes but so far he seems to of liked it as he's been running around a lot
So I've made some extensive changes to my little ones viv.
I had him before on play sand and have switched to carpet so he can stay his lovely colour and in the hope he eats some greens :-)
I've moved him to a cooler but brighter room so have a CHE for night times and I'm using a halogen...
I think he is about to go into his winter slow down as he is spending much more time digging and eating less.
I've recently taken his log out and changed his viv around a little, after his appetite got a little lighter.
He is still a stubborn so and so with his greens his live food is the...
Been a while as been hectic with work over the last few months.
He's much more active these days although no matter what I do he is still refusing to eat greens.
He weighs just over 400 grams but unsure if that's adequate enough. He is 15" in length now, no longer a baby as he is just over a...
Been a while since I've logged on as been super busy with work. Ludo pretty much started eating properly again around early April. He's been eating lots so am glad he is starting to bulk out a little. Still wont touch his greens though so am thinking I'll leave live food for a few days in the...
He's run straight up his basking log. No poop but as he's not eaten its not a big surprise maybe after an hour or so basking he might do one. Not seemed interested in food as of yet today.
I'm tempted to get him a hammock but he seems to prefer his hide, I might put one near it just to give...
I was going to bathe him this afternoon I've given him dusted food today, hopefully he takes it!
It does amaze me the positions you see them sleeping in :-)
Hopefully that's the case because if it is a brumation it'll be summer when he wakes up!
I spoke to the shop I got him from and its a common occurrence over here for them to go off food rather than fully Brumate - apparently - I listen to what's said here more anyway.
I'm home soon so I am...

Went in to check in him this morning and it was eyes open head pointing up.
Maybe he's decided he doesn't want to sleep there. What I'm leaving for work in an hour so will see if he goes back to his hide.
The light in that pic is because the room lights are on where I wanted to show you...
He's wandered out from his hide on the cool side today and has decided to sleep on top, if he stays like this overnight should I perhaps turn UVB on again tomorrow?
Bit nervous today as I'm out all day with work and no one is in the house today.
He's still in his hide, it's typical really as the weather is warning up over here. We've had bright sunshine so thought that might of made him decide not to sleep after all.
I've left the UV off today which in...
