    He doesn't get very many, but I will make sure to watch more carefully. The mouse didn't even have its eyes open and couldn't walk yet. He loves them but has only ever had 4 in his life. He still poops well so I suppose I'm lucky :)

    It is a pinky mouse. The bones aren't fully formed.

    Hawke is only about 7 months, but he is now over 300 grams and 18" long. He still has growing to do, but he is pretty large :-) Healthy and happy!!

    Substrate question :)

    I've heard that pool sand is better than play sand. The pool sand is supposed to be smooth and a lot less dusty?? Not sure if this is true. I am still researching it.
