I have a few probe thermometers from when I kept leopard geckos. I had one who passed away from unknown causes about 6 months ago. If the problem was parasites or disease, it is possible they are still alive on the thermometer. I have a PE1 thermometer on order but it will get here the same...
Thanks, he did mention it sometimes gets blacker when picked up, which is also normal I assume. The breeder seems great so Im confident he will send me a healthy dragon.

Im thinking about getting and adult dragon instead of a juvi. Hes about 17 inches long. Im debating rather or not its worth breeding feeders since I plan to feed him about 85 percent veggies. How man insects does your bearded dragon eat at this age.
