    I use a Reptisun T5 HO UVB bulb and basking temps are 90 degrees F.

    I use a fine knit carpet lining for the terrarium. He mostly eats super worms although on rare occasion he'll eat blue berries and some greens.

    I placed it on top of the mesh screen top but considering cutting a long hole in the screen to allow the rays to come thru unimpeded.

    My beardy has gone for about 6 weeks since pooping. At this point I don't want to feed him again until he poops. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get him to poop? I've given him a daily bath and tried dripping water on his nose but he won't lick it.

    I got the 10.0 T5 bulb. My tank has the fine mesh screen. I placed the hood on top of the screen next to the heating lamp so I'll see how he does with this set up. Thanks again for all the helpful advice!

    I ordered the hood on Monday from Amazon and it was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. I guess it got lost because the tracking info was stuck for 2 days in the same location -- Buford, US, where the hell ever that is. So annoying. I canceled and reordered and it should be delivered on Monday...
