    Aggressive bearded dragon

I think that is it. If you get it out of the cage it seems pretty docile. I went and fed him just now. With me holding the bugs outside his cage he ran up to the glass and followed me and struck at the glass three times.

    Aggressive bearded dragon

Despite that it made me bleed the bite didn't really hurt. Startled me more than anything. I had a Colombian boa bite me years ago and that hurt pretty bad. Made me nervous around it.

    Aggressive bearded dragon

The enclosure is black plastic on all sides and sliding glass on front. 4'x2'x2'. It has a long tube UVB light and a heat bulb. We have three of these enclosures stacked. A turtle on the bottom, a uromasytx in the middle, and the beardie on top. The cage is basically right at face level. We got...

    Aggressive bearded dragon

Our bearded dragon is very aggressive. When we first got it we were worried because it would hardly eat. Now when trying to feed it the thing has literally jumped out of the cage at me trying to get the food sooner. Yesterday I was opening its cage to clean it and it jumped at and bit my hand...

    Dragon barely eats

He seems to run around a lot. During the day he gets up on his basking rock and at night disappears into his hides. I can take a small piece of kale, mustard greens, etc and hold it in front of him and he quickly takes a bit but then leaves it alone. Does this every day. Will almost always...

    Dragon barely eats

Here is a picture. We got him from a local pet store that deals almost exclusively in reptiles. They have been in business for at least 15 years that I know of.

    Dragon barely eats

We have had our dragon three weeks or so. I can get it to eat something everyday but it eats very little. It is a baby, maybe 5” long including tail. When i give it greens it will take one or two bites and then no more. We have small Dubai’s and I have never got it to eat more than two at one...

    Heat at night

Ok got it on the no colored lights maybe I can return them. As to the CHE my cages don’t have any screens on top. They are solid with vents on the sides and back. They will be stacked three high with one for the Bearded Dragon, one for our tortoise, and we are debating what kind of creature to...

    Heat at night

Rats. I ordered 6 of them already. Normal white lights for basking but figured I would use the red for night heat.

    Heat at night

Thanks for the info on being ok at night. The enclosure I have now is a small 20 gallon tank with a E27 reptisun 10.0 but the larger PVC enclosure I have on order (4x2x2) will have a T5 reptisun 10.0. The manufacturer of the PVC enclosure says no CHE. What is wrong with the red lights?

    Best substrate

My Bearded dragon is currently in a 20 gallon tank with the reptile carpet in it. I ordered a PVC 4x2x2 enclosure for it. Should I get this carpet again or is something like the reptichips better ?

    Heat at night

We are new beaded dragon owners. Our enclosure has a reptisun UVB light and a separate basking heat lamp. I assume we turn these both off at night so the critter can sleep. We keep our thermostat set at 70 degrees in our house. Do I need to provide some kind of supplemental heat at night for it...
