That's awesome. You are right.....he loves it. Only time I see him in there is when he was chasing crickets.

    High humidity level

I have been thinking of removing my water bowl as I have never seen my bd drink from it at all. But I really don't have any humidity issues either. I less thing to worry about and to clean. I will remove it and see how he goes.

Hi guys Thought to let you all know that my bd Dexter is going great. He is 7 months old now and is going really well. He is 39 cm long and is growing so quick. Must be all those crickets. He is eating really well, both crickets and vegies. Has a great appetite most days but will miss now and...

    Dexter not eating

Glad I'm on here for great advice. Like you guys said. Dexter is eating again. Ate a few crickets today. I was relieved to be honest. Gave him a bath today also. He has been more active also. I think he is still getting used to his enclosure as he was running back and forth at the back of...

I have now started dexter back on crickets everyday. He doesn't say no to them that's for sure. I measured him today and he is approx 10.5 inches long. He seemed a little upset after I handled him today. I picked him up for a short time as I'm trying to get him used to me. After I put him down...

    New to bearded dragon

Thanks The owner of the reptile store told me to only feed him crickets every second day. It doesn't bother me either way. The main thing is that dexter is getting everything that is required. How many crickets would you feed him in a day?

    New to bearded dragon

Thanks everyone. I've done the changes as advised and put down a deposit on a bd while I was picking up some items for mods. I'll go back and pick him up when I get a chance. He's 4 months old. Little easier for me as I can feed 3 times a day due to my long work hours. So this way we both win...
