I work at a local Petsmart. I actually work in the grooming salon. A couple came into the store and approached our pet care manager with a dead beardie. It was not dead but severely malnourished and impacted from ingested sand. (The couple took no advice on beardies that our staff tried to give so he did not have proper food, heating, or general care)I took the poor guy home and tried with the help of our pet care manager to save him but he died. I already bought all of the things the little guy needed and in the short time I had the little guy in my care I fell in love with beardies so I decided to locate a healthy one and give him the Healthy and Loving life the little guy that died was denied. So I found one and I am in love. I am excited for the future of my beardie and grateful for the whole experience even though its been bitter sweet. In memory of the little one...his last hours were warm. And he inspired a new love for me!!!!
