    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

This was the last few moments I had with him before he was euthanized. I'm utterly broken, my soul hurts so bad I can barely type. He's better off now, in no pain. I'm going to preserve his body in my freezer until my back yard is ready for a burial spot. Signing off until next time, -Tyler

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

I've come to the conclusion through research that Kai has severe MBD. It makes sense considering his duration without uvb or calcium supplements. After looking up pictures everything matches, down to his very protruding hip bones.

Another thing he is doing is twitching randomly

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

Hey guys, things were smooth sailing since I last updated. Unfortunately things went south very quickly. I got home from work and Kai was laying in the corner of his cage which is unusual enough, then he didn't look up at me so I picked him up to check him out. His beard is is completely black...

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

I will for sure keep an eye on the substrate, I do feed him out of tank so I don't worry about him ingesting while hunting. They are superworms, like the ones you can buy in a container

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

Hello all, Kai seems to be doing well, fairly alert, eating worms and crickets, basking for some time then moving about for a few, and solid (green) poops! I got him a 40gal tank so he has plenty more room :)

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

Quick update, Kai (new name and short for Kaiya) is doing better, colors are much more full, he's basking under his uvb and not right under the heat, and a semi solid poop!!!! He also seems to eat with an alert look ☺️

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

Update: I just got home from my 60 hour a week work schedule, and was welcomed by this. Doesn't seem to be any solid feces, just a Urate and liquid. Sorry for the frantic rude questions but what is this supposed to mean??? And being day 3 I haven't given any supplements yet so what should I be...

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

Ok, he seems to always sleep right under the basking light until night time he just sprawls in the open area of his enclosure

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

Thankyou for answering! He is being offered crickets, kale, carrots, dandelion greens, and the worms. I got him two days ago and money is tight until payday, so I don't know exact basking temps but they are pretty hot, at this moment I'm giving him Repta Aid to get something in his system. I've...

    Rescued Dragon, urgent help

I rescued a dragon from a mutual friend that didn't want him and when I arrived his living conditions were horrible. Feces everywhere, algae covered water dish, no UVB, and an insufficient basking temp. I've never owned a dragon but I've successfully cared for chameleons, geckos, a ball python...
