    From my experience a red light is a bad idea. It does mess with them. I bought a light that is suspose to mimic the moon. It's almost purple. But it gives off barley any light.     i slept with Dexter last night

    Rosco loves to sleep with me. He has his own little pillow on my bed. He will run around for a while. Then always go to his pillow and sleep till morning. It's pretty cool.

    Ceramic Heat Emitter Fixture

    I would deffientally get that. I have a 75 watt heat emitter and if I want to with the 75 watt day bulb I can get the tank to 125 degrees and it's a 55 gallon. So 125 way heat emitter will throw off some massive heat
