    Feeder cricket colony

Do the roaches really stink less? I mean really? Are they still quite stinky but compared to the wretched smell of the crickets the smell is tolerable?

    Feeder cricket colony

Its not for me. I am feeding them to Ace as fast as he will eat them. I have a friend who has an adult dragon that I'm giving a lot of them to and I'm planing to ask my children school if they want some for the school pet (an adult bearded dragon named Yoshi). If I cant get rid of them fast...

    Feeder cricket colony

Are the dubia roaches really better to breed than crickets? I would have thought they were worse. I am thinking we will lower the temps so eggs wont hatch, feed Ace the crickets till they are gone and try something else. I don't think I have the stomach for breeding crickets.

    Feeder cricket colony

I ordered a cricket colony online and it arrived today. We decided to do this because Ace is eating so many crickets that it started to get pretty expensive. However now that it has arrived and we have it all set up, I'm sorta having second thoughts. It is disgusting! It smells terrible and they...

Can I feed a bearded dragon scrambled eggs?

Ok. Good to know. I haven't fed him any eggs just wondered if it was a good idea, because we ran out of crickets and the pet store was closed Sunday and today because it was a holiday. We fed him more veggies and he ate them. I also had some meal worms in the fridge that he ate. I Had heard eggs...

Ace is Licking calcium powder from his rock.

Ranch dressing is a white salad dressing, (everything dressing) For humans. That is made of herbs and spices, mayonnaise and milk. My kids asked me the other day why we don't put Ranch dressing on Ace's salads. My six year old son says "It would make it taste a lot better!"

Ace is Licking calcium powder from his rock.

That is funny. Maybe we have the same thing happening with our beardies. They really are fun creatures with definate personality. I never thought I would enjoy a reptile so much! :)

Ace is Licking calcium powder from his rock.

I have only ever purchased crickets from one pet store. They offer what they call "minis and regulars." I always go with the "Minis" because they are the smallest they have. I didn't realize they could be even smaller. I just used a measuring tape and measured our crickets. Some are as small as...
